  • ‘The Divine Mystery’ is a booklet-album that includes thirteensongs in honor of the centenary of the Ascension of 'Abdu'l-Bahá. The lyrics to ten of the songs are from the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, and the eleventh is an arrangement of the well-known poem "Hold Thou my Hand" written in His honor. The last song of the album comprises of some of the tiles of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá bestowed upon him. Two of the pieces on the album set to music are recently translated prayers of ‘Abdu’l-Baha. The album includes a bonus track of 'Heavenly Grace' alternate version without drums for a more meditational listening experience.

    All the lyrics are printed in the booklet, which features a beautiful photograph of the Master and includes a brief introduction to His life. Professional photographs of Holy Places in Haifa and Akka associated with the life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá are elegantly placed throughout the booklet.

This piece was composed a few years ago in honor of my daughter's 15th birthday. A special part of the song is the harmonic voices that represent souls in the next world who are guiding and protecting us. I wanted to add this recording to the album and make it available to all women.

Bestow heavenly confirmation upon this daughter of the kingdom, and graciously aid her that she may remain firm and steadfast in Thy Cause and that she may, even as a nightingale of the rose garden of mysteries, warble melodies in the Abhá Kingdom in the most wondrous tones, thereby bringing happiness to everyone. Make her exalted among the daughters of the kingdom and enable her to attain life eternal. Thou art the Bestower, the All-Loving.
